In this intensive, we’ll explore how small changes create big variety inside familiar movements. Using a simple framework, we’ll experiment with adding variables to common patterns -- changing the point of contact, playing with redirection, exploring how the follower shapes and travels through movement, and discovering how these choices can naturally lead to different exits and unexpected outcomes. Rather than learning endless new moves, you’ll develop tools to create more dynamic, adaptable, and musical partner dancing. Expect experimentation, connection-focused exercises, and creative problem-solving that will help both leaders and followers feel more confident improvising within patterns.
